In the past week or so, Google have revamped their logo. You may not probably have noticed the change but be assured they have changed something.

What has changed?

Not much has changed if we are being honest. The second G has moved one pixel to the right, they have also moved the ‘L’ on one hell of a journey….. One pixel down and one to the right.

This very minor change was spotted by eagle-eyed Redditors; at least someone noticed it.

The reason behind this change is that Google beleieve that it will improve the logo’s readability and decipherability.

Before this revamp the bottoms of the ‘L’ and ‘E’ did not line up. This, as you can imagine, left some employees in Google’s design team weeping at their desks.

How it looks now

Here is a before and after picture of the Google logo. We also found this handy GIF image that you will be able to tell the difference in the logo.
